I have my projects nicely formatted with descriptions on github. Some youtube video demos to make it that much easier to see. However, it would elevate my Web Development progress further if I had a live active portoflio. With that being said I’m in the process of getting one built and using this blog to brain storm on some ideas.
while I’m currently applying to companies (few phone interviews / upcoming in-person ones) I’ve decided to continue to work on projects (duh). I created my animal searcher for phone and refreshed my skills on React/APis and even learned a new one about search bars. However, while I can keep making new projects I wanted to go back and fix a few of my old ones I learned during Flatiron.
Three weeks into my search and I’ve already gotten some emails / call backs! It’s a good learning process to be able to see how tech recruiters and employees respond / see what they’re looking for. With that being said I expect to see alot more in the upcoming weeks. One thing I hope to see being mentioned or look at is my completed Animal Filter project!
Being on my third week of my job search. I wanted to stray away from working on old projects and try something new. Most importantly something I’ve never worked with. Search bars / filters!
This is the second week of my career journey. Not only have I applied to places, but I’ve connected and worked on projects. It’s deff a struggle but I am sure I can get through it.
